Turf installation

Inscapes was invited to install 30,000 square metres of turf at the Gleneagles Golf Course as part of the preparations for the 2014 Ryder Cup. Despite being early summer, the weather was cold and there was still snow on the ground. We were subcontracted by Inturf to install the new turf and had a window of just 10 days to complete the project. The challenges were mainly weather related as the weather was completely unpredictable and it could be snowing, raining and sunny all on the same day. We also had to install the turf whilst the ground workers were working just in front of us on the construction of the driving range.
