INSCAPES recognises that, while undertaking normal business activities, these activities may have an adverse effect on the environment.

It is our intention to proactively protect the environment as a whole, as well as our employees and associated persons, by fulfilling both our legal and moral obligations.

To achieve our aims, we seek the cooperation of our employees, clients, sub-contractors, and suppliers. All senior management will take full responsibility for the business’s environmental impact and provide leadership in environmental matters.

This policy applies to our offices, sites, and any persons who may come into contact with the company.

To implement this policy, INSCAPES will:

Ø  Ensure all staff are trained in our environmental management policy and provided with guidance on its implementation.

Make continuous improvements to our environmental performance and work to prevent pollution.

  •  Comply with all current and future applicable environmental legislation, regulations, and other requirements.
  •   Invest in improved energy efficiency for the products we use and investigate environmentally safe and sustainable energy sources for implementation where possible.
  • Aim to use suppliers who are willing to take away packaging for re-use or recycling.
  • Reduce the business’s energy and water consumption and minimise carbon dioxide emissions.
  • Reduce waste production and carry out recycling as much as possible.
  •  Wherever practical, only use sub-contractors and suppliers who comply with the requirements of our environmental policy.
  •  Reduce the environmental impacts of the business year on year by monitoring, auditing, and reviewing our environmental performance.
  • Set and review measurable environmental objectives, with management providing the time and resources required to achieve these objectives.

INSCAPES shall ensure this Environmental Policy and its objectives are compatible with the context and strategic direction of the company.

This policy is communicated to all staff by permanently displaying a copy in reception and on staff notice boards. It is also made available to relevant interested parties upon request and published on our website where appropriate.

This policy will be reviewed annually, or sooner if significant change occurs, to ensure ongoing suitability and effectiveness.
