A bespoke dust suppression unit was designed and fabricated in-house at our Bridgend workshop to reduce airborne dust emissions during operations, protecting local air quality and minimising environmental impact. The project met high environmental standards, with emissions equating to 23.5T CO₂, highlighting Inscapes’ commitment to sustainable construction and environmentally responsible sports facility development.

This design and build project, delivered in partnership with Neath & Port Talbot CC and Bouygues UK, features an FIH-certified, FIFA-quality pro hockey pitch. Inscapes constructed the engineered base with full drainage, geogrid layer, and porous ET35 elastic tarmac. Despite site challenges, the project included 4m perimeter fencing and an LED floodlight system with Wi-Fi control. The Polytan PoliGrass Terra 218 surface ensures a top-tier playing experience.

Inscapes works on various projects at the Celtic Manor Resort, including drainage improvements, ground works, and turfing for the golf courses and roof garden. Ongoing improvements to the 2010 course involve secondary drainage installation, sand slitting on the 8th, 9th, and 11th Fairways, and upcoming sandbanding. Inscapes also supplies turf, soil, and bark products for the estate.

Inscapes are involved in the annual refurbishment of the pitches which will involve removal of the grass surface, installation of secondary drainage, top dressing sand and or fibre sand as required together with re-levelling, cultivating and seeding.

Works consisted of installing excavated sand slits to take the excess water away from the surface down to the main system and lateral drains below, topdressing, vertidraining, and seeding.

The Celtic Manor Resort hosted the 2010 Ryder Cup and served as the venue for the NATO Summit in 2014. Inscapes were contracted to install a new artificial tee line and surround on the 2010 Driving Range.

Landcraft were contracted by Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council to upgrade the MUGA at Tredegar Sports
Centre. The project involved the refurbishment and upgrade of an outdoor multi-use sports area and adjacent
car park facilities. Initial site preparation works were undertaken which included the removal of the existing
fencing, fence posts and surfacing materials to clear the area for the new installations.

Inscapes were contracted by McAvoy Group to construct a new MUGA at Islwyn High School. The MUGA works
included the reduction of existing site levels to prepare the ground for the installation of the new playing
surface and surrounding landscape.

At Inscapes, we carry out specialist cricket square renovation works designed to revitalise and enhance playing surfaces. Our experienced team combines precision techniques with premium materials to deliver consistent, high-quality results for clubs, councils, and sports facilities.

At the end of the playing season, pitches require a structured renovation programme to restore surface quality, improve playability and ensure long term performance. We provide tailored end of season renovations for both hybrid and natural grass pitches, using specialist equipment and proven techniques to deliver consistent, high quality results.

Works consisted of installing primary drainage, a soakaway on the periphery of the Greens and secondary drainage using the Imant SandCat to move gently over the turf, slitting the surface while incorporating sand, thereby enhancing drainage and improving the rootzone’s properties. Its compact design makes it particularly well-suited for greens and tees.

Inscapes were contracted by The Vale Golf & Country Club to install a full irrigation system across all 27 holes. During these works we were approached to provide a solution for the drainage issues on the course.
