Basic Function

We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Warehouse and Stores Apprentice, supporting the day-to-day operations of our irrigation stores. This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their career who is keen to develop practical skills in warehouse operations and stock management, with a clear pathway to a permanent Stores Person position upon successful completion of the apprenticeship. You will gain hands on experience, formal training and industry knowledge within the irrigation sector.

Major Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving, checking, and storing incoming irrigation stock.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Maintain accurate stock records and assist with stock takes.
• Ensure the warehouse and stores areas are kept clean, organised, and safe.
• Support general warehouse duties as required.
• Learn and follow company processes and health & safety procedures.
• Manage and work towards objectives and KPI’s and sales.
• To ensure excellent customer service at all times.
• To attend all training courses and meetings relating to the job.

Requirements

• Driving license.
• Basic IT skills. 
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
