Role: Yard Apprentice
Location: Bridgend

Basic Function

To assist with the day-to-day operations of the yard while completing an apprenticeship programme. The Yard Apprentice will support stock control, loading and unloading, equipment handling, customer service and general yard maintenance while learning safe and efficient operational practices.

Responsibilities

• Driving and maintaining the forklift.
• Load and unload vehicles, machinery, materials and deliveries safely.
• Assist with the organisation and maintenance of the yard and storage areas.
• Learn safe handling and operation of yard equipment and machinery.
• Complete apprenticeship training, coursework and assessments as required.
• Washing down machinery
