Training Complex

Inscapes has been contracted by the Vale Resort from the early days, in particular on the golf course which is one of the longest outside of America. Now a truly world-class resort, The Vale is set in over 650 acres of Welsh countryside and has become one of the UK’s leading destinations for family breaks, spa breaks, and golf breaks in Wales. The resort is also the training base for the Welsh Rugby Union and the Cardiff Premier League Football team.

We have been involved in a number of activities on these training pitches including sand slitting to the Blues training pitch; sand slitting to the WRU training pitch, over-sowing and top dressing of all rugby pitches; as well as koroing, sandbanding and end of season renovations.

This year we undertook end of season renovation to both the existing WRU Castle Pitch and WRU Vale Pitch. These both consisted of top dressing, koroing the pitch, lightly ameliorating sand into the pitch surface, fertilizing, seeding and installing sand bands.
